London City Runner was opened in 1996 by Patrick Marchant, himself a former runner for Woodford Green Athletics Club. Having run a sports shop for 25 years in Chingford with his wife Jean, Patrick opened a sports wear and running accessory shop in the City of London to cater for serious runners. The Marchant family’s in-depth knowledge of running has ensured London City Runner is one of the leading sportswear companies in London.
